Gwen Mazer has an extensive background in all areas of personal style and presentation. She was a fashion editor and journalist for Harper’s Bazaar, where she also created the original column “Lifestyle,” chronicling the lives of icons in the arts and fashion. She was a fashion executive and stylist for major retail companies in the United States and Europe, as well as Creative Director for the fashion company Esprit. She has been chronicled in a variety of media from Vogue to the San Francisco Chronicle.
She has owned signature boutiques in New York and San Francisco and is the founder of the San Francisco consulting company, Total Image Management. The company provides personal image and style services to a diverse client base that has ranged from women in business, the arts and philanthropy, Wells Fargo Bank, to television personality Oprah Winfrey.
Gwen is a charter member of the founding chapter of AICI, the international professional image association and served as chapter president of Northern California. She was awarded the industry’s highest honor. She has presented programs and lectures to many organizations including the Junior League, the National Charity League, and the World Affairs Council.
She has served on the board of many civic and cultural organizations and currently serves on the board of, the Northern California Chapter of the International Women’s Forum.
Gwen is the award winning author of Wise Talk Wild Women, published by Council Oak Books. Her new book about fashion and creating an ageless personal presence will be released in 2014.
